Senior Project Geologist | Vista Gold | Katherine, NT SENIOR PROJECT GEOLOGIST Vista Gold Corp. a USA public listed company, requires a Senior Project Geologist for its Mt Todd Northern Territory Gold Mining Project located 28 kms north of Katherine. We envisage the successful applicant will have the following qualifications:- Degreed geologist with 10-20 years of exploration experience Gold exploration experience Proven experience compiling and interpreting historical exploration and geologic data and using same to design both grass-roots and advanced-stage exploration programs Capable of supervising a drilling contractor Capable of supervising other geologists employed in core logging and data gathering activities Previous experience with GIS mapping and database organization/management a plus (experience with MapInfo preferred) Good communications and public relations experience a plus Previous bush experience required A 12 month renewable contract commencing 1 January 2007 together with an attractive salary package commensurate with skills and experience will be offered.
